Dr. Massett is a Senior Behavioral Science Analyst in the Clinical Trials Operations and Informatics Branch in CTEP. Dr. Massett has over 25 years of professional experience in program evaluation, consumer research, and social marketing. Within CTEP, she applies her expertise to support NCI’s early and late phase clinical trial network systems, including the development and application of systematic accrual practices to aid challenging trials, evaluation of NCI’s Central IRB (CIRB) pilot program, and preparation for the 2014 launch of CTEP’s National Clinical Trial Network. Dr. Massett joined the National Cancer Institute in 2004 and prior to CTEP, was the Associate Director of the Office of Market Research and Evaluation for seven years. Before coming to NCI, she was Vice President of Research at Porter Novelli, as well as held senior research positions at RTI International and AED where she oversaw nationally funded research studies for the CDC, the March of Dimes, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Dr. Massett received her PhD from the University of Maryland in health communication research, with an emphasis on social network analysis.
