Ravie Kem, RPH, PharmD, MPH
Senior Clinical Research Pharmacist
Dr. Kem came to Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program (CTEP) in 2004. Her responsibilities include managing a drug portfolio for use in NCI trials, providing drug information for CTEP IND agents, and serving as a preceptor to pharmacy students and residents. Prior to joining CTEP, she was Operational Manager in the Clinical Research Pharmacy at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital responsible for staffing, participating in IRB committee meetings, preparing/attending drug audit reviews, and collaborating with the clinical research office on clinical trials being conducted at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital.
Dr. Kem is a graduate of Xavier College of Pharmacy of New Orleans and the University of Florida. She also holds a Master's in Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
About the Branch Chief
Dr. Johnson manages many investigational agents in support of NCI-sponsored cancer treatment trials as well as a variety of activities related to new drug development.
She holds a BA in Biology from the University of Rochester. After spending many years performing molecular biology research, she attended the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy and graduated with a PharmD. More…
