Branch Chief

Jeffrey A. Moscow, MD, joined the Investigational Drug Branch (IDB) in 2014 after serving part time since 2012, and was appointed Branch Chief in 2018. He is a graduate of Harvard University and the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Dr. Moscow completed his pediatric residency at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas and a fellowship in pediatric hematology-oncology in the Pediatric Oncology Branch, NCI. Prior to joining CTEP, he was Children’s Miracle Network Professor of Pediatrics, Chief of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology, Vice Chair of Pediatrics, and co-leader of the Experimental Therapeutics Program of the Markey Cancer Center, all at the University of Kentucky. His IDB portfolio includes tyrosine kinase inhibitors, therapeutic antibodies and antibody-drug conjugates, and cellular therapies. He is also the program director of PDXNet, a precision medicine initiative to incorporate patient-derived models into NCI’s preclinical drug development efforts. Dr. Moscow has been awarded 5 US patents, and is an author of over 100 peer-reviewed articles, reviews, and book chapters.
