R&D Agreements Advisor

Lora Spencer is the Research and Development Agreements Advisor, in the Agreements Coordination Group, Regulatory Affairs Branch (RAB). Lora, with over ten years experience in the bio-pharmaceutical industry, joined the NCI in 2015 after spending two years at the NIH in the Presidential Management Fellows Program, the federal government's flagship leadership development program. During her fellowship, Lora rotated in the Department of Health and Human Services Office of General Counsel (NIH branch) where she developed valuable skills and competencies in legal counsel and advice, intellectual property, regulatory affairs, and technology transfer matters. At CTEP Lora supports the RAB Associate Chief in negotiating and drafting collaborative research and development agreements and technology transfer agreements, and the DCTD's Intellectual Property Manager on intellectual property matters. Lora also serves as the point of contact for international clinical trial agreements and regulatory affairs.

Jan Casadei, PhD Jan Casadei, PhD joined the National Cancer Institute in 1991, where she is now chief of the Regulatory Affairs Branch, CTEP. Her area of expertise covers FDA regulations, policies and guidelines for the conduct of clinical studies with investigational agents.
