Alvin Blackmon, RPh, Pharm D, BCNP
Senior Clinical Research Pharmacist
Dr. Alvin Blackmon received his pharmacy degree from Xavier University of Louisiana in 2001. In 2010, he completed an American Society of Hospital Pharmacy (ASHP) accredited PGY-2 Nuclear Pharmacy Residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in the District of Columbia. Dr. Blackmon served as the Chief of Nuclear Pharmacy at Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Fort Gordon, Georgia and at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. His responsibilities included procurement, compounding, quality control, and dispensing of radiopharmaceuticals. In 2019, he worked as a nuclear pharmacist at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
About the Branch Chief
Dr. Johnson manages many investigational agents in support of NCI-sponsored cancer treatment trials as well as a variety of activities related to new drug development.
She holds a BA in Biology from the University of Rochester. After spending many years performing molecular biology research, she attended the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy and graduated with a PharmD. More…
