Dupeh Palmer-Ochieng, Ph.D.
Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager
Dr. Dupeh Palmer-Ochieng joined the Regulatory Affairs Branch in January 2021. Dr. Palmer-Ochieng received her Ph.D. in Immunology and Microbiology from Imperial College, University of London. She comes from the FDA where she served as a Senior Reviewer/Senior Pharmaceutical Quality Assessor since 2013 in the Division of Microbiology Assessment (DMA) and Division of Biological Manufacturing (DBM), in the Office of Pharmaceutical Quality (OPQ) within the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER).
Prior to these positions, Dr. Palmer-Ochieng worked for four years as a Microbiology Reviewer in the Office of Generic Drugs in CDER. Before joining the FDA, she spent three years as a post-doctoral scientist in the Department of Immunology at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) and seven years as a Principal Investigator in the Department of Viral Diseases at WRAIR.
About the Branch Chief
Bhanu Ramineni, M.S., M.S., became the Chief of the Regulatory Affairs Branch in October 2019. She joined the Drug Regulatory Group in the branch in 2010. She holds two Master's degrees: one in Environmental Sciences from Nagarjuna University, India, and a second one in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with a specialization in Biotechnology from Georgetown University. Ms. Ramineni comes with significant experience in FDA Regulatory Affairs, as well as preclinical and clinical development of vaccines with a special focus in immunology. More…
