Li Jia Joined the Clinical Trials Operations and Informatics Branch, CTEP, DCTD in April 2022. As a data scientist at the DTR, the Office of the Director (OD), she was dedicated to Artificial Intelligence (AI) model creation/optimization by using the ANN methodology to improve the efficiency of NIH campus energy consumption. Before transferring to DTR, Li served as a team lead in the Research Analytics Program at the NIH Library, OD, where she was responsible for leading the program to collaborate and coordinate with other research groups and investigators across different ICs by providing computational and software support. Before joining OD in 2019, Li had been working at the National Cancer Institute (NCI) as a bioinformatics scientist for nine years. She was heavily involved in diverse research studies including translational medicine and contributed to cancer immunotherapy clinical trials by developing the computational methods at CCR. She has co-authored dozens of papers published in top-tier journals. Li holds a Ph.D. degree in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology from George Mason University. She has extensive expertise in biomedical data analysis, management and modeling.
