Co-Head, CIRB Strategy and Operations

Amanda Putnick Sly, CIP, MS joined the Clinical Trials Operations and Informatics Branch in 2024 as the Co-Head for NCI Central Institutional Review Board (NCI CIRB) Strategy and Operations.

Ms. Sly has supported clinical trials in the fields of Institutional Review Board (IRB) administration and regulatory support for over 20 years. She joined the NCI CIRB in 2011 as a federal contractor and spent 10 years on the project. She served as a Compliance Analyst for the Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP) from 2020 to 2024.

Ms. Sly holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from George Mason University and a Master of Science in Research Administration from Johns Hopkins University.
