Nayon Kang, PharmD, MSc
Senior Clinical Research Pharmacist
Dr. Kang received her PharmD from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy (UKCOP) in 2013 and completed a PGY-1 residency at Hartford Hospital in Connecticut. She also received a master's degree in clinical and experimental therapeutics from UKCOP in 2017.
After working as a clinical pharmacist at the University of Kentucky Healthcare, she transitioned to research and oncology pharmacy services at the Children's National Medical Center and then at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, where she served as a pharmacy representative on the Data and Safety Monitoring Board. Prior to joining PMB, she worked as a contractor supporting the Division of Clinical Research at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, where she served as a research pharmacy advisor to designated national and international research pharmacies. During this time, she was a member of a drug-drug interaction (DDI) workgroup in developing a DDI database tool for a clinical trial.
About the Branch Chief
Dr. Johnson manages many investigational agents in support of NCI-sponsored cancer treatment trials as well as a variety of activities related to new drug development.
She holds a BA in Biology from the University of Rochester. After spending many years performing molecular biology research, she attended the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy and graduated with a PharmD. More…
