Dr. Eileen Wu received a PharmD degree from Rutgers The State University of New Jersey in 2007. She joined the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia as a staff pharmacist in 2007 where she prepared and dispensed IV medications (including investigational agents, chemotherapy, TPNs) and worked with robotic IV automation. In 2010, she transitioned to the Investigational Drug Service. Eileen was responsible for reviewing protocols for the IRB, assisting investigators in developing protocols, and training the pharmacy staff and residents in the procedures for conducting and supporting investigational drug protocols. She was also responsible for dispensing all investigational agents for inpatient and outpatient settings, providing patient counseling, and developing randomization schemes and placebo controls for blinded studies.
