Rodney Howells, RPh
Senior Clinical Research Pharmacist
Mr. Howells originally joined CTEP as a Clinical Research Pharmacist with the Drug Management and Authorization Section, Pharmaceutical Management Branch in September, 2001. His duties included oversight, review, and coordination of the pharmaceutical aspects of many of the biologic agents in the CTEP Drug Development Program. Mr. Howells currently serves as the Associate Branch Chief of PMB and the Contracting Officer Representative for the NCI Clinical Repository contract.
Mr. Howells received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1988. He served as a Clinical Oncology Pharmacist and Investigational Drug Service Pharmacist at the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute for many years before joining CTEP.
About the Branch Chief
Dr. Johnson manages many investigational agents in support of NCI-sponsored cancer treatment trials as well as a variety of activities related to new drug development.
She holds a BA in Biology from the University of Rochester. After spending many years performing molecular biology research, she attended the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy and graduated with a PharmD. More…
